Bare with me as I wrote these articles about two months ago and I'm just now posting them to the website. I had these sitting around in my archives and I feel that they need to be on the new site to give some depth into our NBA information. If the dates seem a bit outdated I was using numbers from about 9 weeks ago. What I know for sure is that my preseason prediction of Ty Lawson finishing abouve Rajon Rondo on the ESPN player rater is looking pretty good right now.

The Denver Nuggets:
The "No Name Nuggets" have continued to shock the basketball world with their underrated team. This article shows how a franchise could lose their mega star, in this case Carmelo Anthony, and still compete.

The Milwaukee Bucks:
My next article describes the Bucks. A few things have changed since I wrote about their team. Andrew Bogut was shipped out to Golden State in return for Monta Ellis. The premise of the article still works and gives you a good idea of what another small market team has done this year to compete.

The Memphis Grizzles:
My third writing in the four part series was about the Grizzles. The Grizzles are a young team that has been dealing with injuries all year long. This article is a solid example of what can happen when a small market team makes all the right moves but gets unlucky with the injury bug.

The Golden State Warriors:
The Warriors, like the Bucks, have altered their roster since I wrote this two months ago. The article still offers some insight to how the team was built and with a new coach this year, Mark Jackson, how they look to compete down the road. I think the Warriors have the makings of a playoff team and possibly a contender within 4 or 5 years.

One More:
If you enjoyed those reads check out my article discussing my new theory of "Don't Hack a Howard, Bash a Blake." I think that the Hack a Howard strategy is overrated and that teams should begin intentionally fouling Blake Griffin. Click on the link below to read that as well, it was one of my favorite articles to write.

Thanks for reading my four part series on small market NBA teams. It was a lot of fun researching how these rosters came together. Stay tuned for more NBA talk on our next podcast as well as some new articles within the next few days.

I went through each article on here and my favorite was the don't hack a howard bash a blake one. Although it was really cool to read about the mid market teams build their rosters.
