Fantasy Baseball Hitter Rankings
As we hit the All Star break I wanted to update my rankings and give updated projections for the rest of the 2015 season. These rankings have nothing to do with what each player has done to this point, it's simply their numbers from now until the end of the season as if they were starting a brand new season. If you have any questions or what a better explanation to my rankings hit me on Twitter or post a question in the comment section at the bottom of the page.
Starling Marte and Andrew McCutchen have carried the Pirates offense this year. Marte currently has a .281 batting average, 13 homers, 16 steals, 44 runs scored and 48 RBI. McCutchen has a .300 average, 11 home runs, five steals, 46 runs and 54 RBI. McCutchen has been hot of late after he started the season slow while Marte has missed the past few games with an oblique injury. It's no secret these two will have to stay healthy and productive if the Pirates want to make the postseason this year.
My rankings are based on how I perceive each players current and future value for this season alone. The number in parenthesis is where they were ranked in my previous rankings.
