2016 Fantasy Baseball Rankings & Projections
Outfielder #80
80. Byron Buxton MIN
BA - .280
HR - 7
RBI - 42
Runs - 67
SB - 14
Buxton is a future five-tool star with major potential so long as he can stay healthy. Over the past few years Byron has dealt with a severe wrist injury and a concussion, both injuries slowed down his progress in the minors. The Twins took Buxton with the second overall pick (behind Carlos Correa) in the 2012 MLB Draft with the hopes that he'd be able to make his way to Minnesota within a few years. Now healthy, Buxton could open the 2016 season as the Twins' starting Center Fielder if he plays well in Spring Training. I'm a big fan of the 22 year old phenom's skill set and upside, I think he'll be a borderline Top 25 Fantasy Outfielder within two years.
